so it's been forever since I've flown an E-wing, mainly because you don't see them outside of Corran and a fattie and I'd sooner quit playing than fly that

but with talk of regionals and Tastetherainbow's top 8 Corran + Y-wings and another PTL + sensor + r2 astro Ea'thn with Tarn and bandits, I've been looking back upon fond memories of sensor + ptl + r2-d2 E'athn tearing down a full health chiraneau by himself and I kinda want to fly it again.

so my old list was

it was fun, but most games ended up with the Zs getting mulched and poor E'athn alone wondering why he had to do all the work himself

2 b-wings w/ HLC

getting to add a crit on HLC is a big deal. Admittedly, that's a variation on my Luke's got the Blues list (trading out Luke for E'tahn and losing FCS on the blues)

Maybe just do 39pt Etahn with 4 Prototype A-wings? Seems like they would synergize better with the native 3 green dice and similar actions. Or 3 Greens with PTL / Refit?

if ever I had cause to own four a-wings, I'd love to give that a spin

I also really like E'tahn with a similar loadout. I recently used him with 5 Z-95s. E'tahn was an all-star... the Banditos were woefully inept. I've been thinking about pairing E'tahn with another ace pilot and a generic Blue (or 2 Banditos).

Or give someone an ulcer in trying to kill these three ships.

went up against Etahn and 4X prototype at my store championship. I was in the championship round with BBBBZ. We went to time. I was down a B and the Z. he was down 2 A's. I had a crit on the last A and it was minor explosion. came down to the die roll. he rolls the crit icon so i lose. However it was one of the most fun battles ive had in Xwing! he flew it well and his was surprisingly effective

I go up against a lot of swarms, so Blount is almost an automatic inclusion for me. If you can get Keyan to Focus then his ability and Etahn's will work nice, I think, and 4 dice at all ranges is lovely on a ship as durable as the B-Wing.

Alternatively, you could do this:

• Etahn (32) w/PTL (3) & R2-D2 (4) = 39 points
• Keyan Farlander (29) w/Mangler (4) & Advanced Sensors (3) = 36 points
• Kyle in Hwk-290 (21) w/Recon Specialist (3) = 24

Y'know, for focus-passing shenanigans. The Hawk's not too effective without a weapons upgrade, but it could still be a fun build, I think.

I am going to be trying out this list:

Etahn with r5p9 (for durability, because I feel he will b the main target), 2x blue squadron, and a rookie x

100 pts, lots of red dice, and 4 hits turned to crits potential (in etahns firing arc)

Might Give this a go! Really want to use E'tahn a lot more and I do so enjoy A B-Wing with FCS

That Etahn Tarn 3bandit list is loads of fun.

I've always enjoyed Etahn but it was really hard to make him work pre-FAQ.

It does surprisingly good damage and if flown correctly, Biggs stays alive for a very long time, and that keeps your other ships alive for a long time.
