Apologies if this is covered somewhere else in the forums, but I didn't see anything at first glance.

I am just starting to dip my toes into this game (have been playing/collecting 40K for 6+ years), and am curious if there were any particular sites that I should keep an eye on as I start to make a few purchases. For 40K, I generally stick to Frontline Gaming (and Miniature Market, before they dropped Games Workshop). I'm familiar with Bartertown, Dakka Dakka/Warseer forums and the like, but is there a really good site for getting new X-Wing kits? Looks to me like MM has the best prices so far; beats Frontline Gaming, Warstore, FRP Games and a few others I've looked at. I know forums can offer great deals on new and used kits alike, but following them takes SO much time as opposed to finding a store and checking their sales page once a day.

I buy mostly from MM, their customer service is awesome. I'd recommend occasionally spending the extra $5 or so and support your LFGS if you can spare it.

For used X-Wing stuff, your only real option is like Ebay or something. You won't find much listed here where people are trying to sell their collection.

If you have one nearby and they support the games you play with tournaments, prizes and play opportunities in general then id say that your FLGS is the place where you'll be getting good deals that can never be matched by any online seller or discount shop. You can't put a pose tag on the fun social interactions and nerd talk while enjoying your game in good company at the FLGS

I buy at full retail from my local game store this is the cheapest place for anyone to buy there x-wing stuff because without your local game store you'd be driving quite a distance to get your games in. Support your store and they'll support you with a place to play, tournaments and a great community.

Barnes and Noble...also has a good selection. Plus you can use the email coupons they send out on X Wing

I buy from Minature Market, Cool Stuff Inc and my Local Game store. Ordering $300 in ships retail for a wave release and saving $100 is huge, that's about the difference from MM to the FLGS. But I also fill out my lists and buy card sleeves, card binders etc all x wing extras at the Local Store.
