So had a random thought the other night about somehow using the Armada fighter minis to create a 'travel' version of Star Wars X-Wing...
There are many things that would need addressing, but the intent would be to create something more portable or something you can run on a smaller table.
Mostly just a rambling thought for amusement's sake. Lord only knows how impractical some aspects would be:
- create mini manoeuvre templates?
- use the full size templates, but the smaller minis give a better sense of scale for realistic weapon ranges and speed/distance covered?
- as if bumps aren't bad enough at full scale!
- use X-Wing bases?
Only a fanciful concept that made me think back to childhood and those mini-versions of full size boardgames (often magnetic!) for use in the back of the car on long road trips.
