I got my wife to buy me IA for my Birthday... even if the game sucked I just wanted the cool minis to own/paint! (As it happens I love the game too now I've played it )

curious about why you went with solid red on the champion though. The colour scheme given on the package is a very nice look to him and gives him a unique feel to stand out from his counterparts.

I went with solid red (well actually its crimson for the cloth & scarlet for the armour) as I actually didn't want him to stand out from the other Guards too much

I believe the colour scheme on the Royal Champ box art is a depiction of Carnor Jax

I think these are from comics so you can tell the two characters apart while they wear their armour but I just wanted my dude to be a Royal Guard champ & nothing else
