painting and lighting (VT-49)

By urifici, in X-Wing

Good mornig!

I'll show you my latest creation, a painted and illuminated decimator.

I've painted using an airbrush and then with mask I've painted the red lines. Using a sponge I've recreated the rust and damage effect on the hull.

For the lighting process I've used a high brightness leds to recreate the cockpit and engine light effect. Everybody can do that, I'm not an electric genius so if I can do it sure it's no difficult ;)

Here you are: the pictures (if you have any question about process don't hesitate to send a pm to me, I'll be glad to answer)

hahahahahaa do you like it? evil is only a point ov view muahahahahaahah

It looks fantastic! Paint job looks really, really nice, and I like the magnetic closures for joining the top & bottom halves. Just out of curiosity, why didn't you light the front canopy/windows?

thank you very much, I have to post some pictures when I'm playing with it with the lights on ;)

About the front canopy, I couldn't put lights on it, because I didn't left any space for those lights
