Neither of those lists look particularly good to me. It seems like wanting a decent third ship is keeping you from spending enough points on Soontir or the Decimator.

You'd probably be better off with something like this:

Soontir Fel (27)
Push the Limit (3)
Autothrusters (2)
Shield Upgrade (4)
Royal Guard TIE (0)
Patrol Leader (40)
Darth Vader (3)
Gunner (5)
"Backstabber" (16)
Total: 100
Switch Backstabber to Dark Curse if you prefer or drop him to a cheaper TIE to get an initiative bid for Soontir.
