Does anyone know where I can get some free downloadable sound effects (multiple blaster shots and other weapons. Environmental sounds. Droid sounds. Ship sound etc) that I can import into my phone app?
Most of what I can find are not Star Wars (despite being advertised as such) or part of an online program that's no use to me

I dont have a PC handy when I GM. But might be able to pull the sounds off.... just wanted a quick and easy method, as I have an app that I can just upload sounds to and hit a button

there are ways to download the video/audio of a youtube video so that you can edit them or play them back in another player.
I second syrinscape. I use it regularly in my games. Star wars.com also has a sound generator on it. It just requires an internet connection.

Looks like it should have all the fun bits you need. Maybe you can download all the sounds to your phone. If you go under category sound effects, you can choose blasters, or speeders and the like and choose the sounds you want.
It is actually pretty awesome.

The Star Wars sound board is not quite sufficient, and I cant download its sounds.
I dont have access to a PC while I GM (And I prefer not to), but I do use my phone and ipad for music and reference, ideally I am looking for sounds as I have an app on my phone, that will let me play sounds, while my ipad is running music.
I have the Sampl app, which will allow me to upoad sound files and play with a simple click of a button, but I need to find suitable sounds.

My favorite part of that soundboard is the name they give to the sound effect of Han cutting open the Tauntaun with Luke's lightsaber: "Tauntaun belly rub"
The Star Wars soundboard is amazing (especially when you're roleplaying a Wookie), I just wish it was flash compatible because an iPad makes a rather inventive GM screen.

Someone took the time to take the files from the official soundboard and transcode them to MP3. I've taken it a step further and loaded them into my DAW drum sampler so I can press a pad and BLAMMO I have blasters.
Unfortunately, it has been received as more of a distraction than anything else, ymmv. Music's a boon though.
