So I don't like making deck lists because they are so quest specific, but I do have a deck idea and I want some feedback. The idea is for a two handed team of Rohan and Eagles that uses To the Eyrie to constantly recycle Eomund. All you need for the combo to work is one eagle ally, To the Eyrie, and Eomund. Once it is set up, the combo allows the players to send all the Rohan characters on the quest, then ready them all by chump blocking with Eomund (or letting him die to Archery).
The heroes would include Theoden (spirit), Theodred, Eomer, Eowyn, Hama, and Dunhere. The purple is used for Steward of Gondor on Eowyn. This is for a second combo, because with Lay of Nimrodel and Herugrim Eowyn can kill just about anything. Also, Theodred can allow Dunedain Cache on Hama, giving him ranged so he can always attack to recycle To the Eyrie.
Thoughts?
Rohan/Eagle idea
If you aren't already including it Stand and Fight is another nice way to get Eomund back from the discard pile.
Little expensive but still very powerful. Helm Helm might also work well. If there are too many enemies in play and you do not have nearly enough attack power to kill them all discard Eomund to Helm Helm to discard one enemy and your newly readied army can take out the rest!
Stand and Fight definitely can work, but not Helm Helm. In the rules there is a distinction between destruction and discard. Eomund's trigger works on destruction so it doesn't work if you discard him. Also, when you discard an ally you can't use To the Eyrie to save him.
Edited by DukeWellingtonActually Eomund's trigger is him leaving play, so it works just fine with discarding him. To the Eyrie wouldn't work though, you're right, so at that point you'd have to resort to Stand and Fight or a new copy of Eomund.

it is when he leaves play through any effect thay his ability triggers not just from being destroyed
Edited by PsychoRockaI stand corrected. It does say leaves play. Okay, Helm Helm does work as well as Ride to Ruin.
If you include Eagles, it may be worth including Support of the Eagles.
Giving Hama some epic attack or Dunhere or maybe give it to Theoden to boost his defence and sometimes his attack.
Herugrim will be an awesome asset in this deck too, I think. Eowyn or Theoden could make some good use out of it, if you've got some action advantage (which your combo aims to do
).
Born Aloft is also great for Eomumd
