what are your wishes for the next expansion and the future of the game?

I'm not going to spoil anything, but maybe read Dark Disciple before asking for Ventress.

Just started last night. I felt a disturbance before I started, that's why I said "somehow".

I'd like to see a 3+ player skirmish that did not lend to camping or turtling.

Anyone thought of A'Sharad Hett as an addition? Could be an interesting one worked into a campaign...

I'm like 99% sure that FFG is going to stick with canon characters for this game (That's why RGC has a generic name and isn't Carnor Jax). But Hett would be a really cool piece to homebrew and try out. :D

How about a nice digital record-keeping system. Something that can track your armies for skirmish play and player (rebel and imperial) information for campaigns.

Also, Rebel "Career" figures from the RPG games (e.g. Fringers, Bounty Hunter, Spies, Diplomats, Guardians, Consulars, etc.). Apparently we're getting "Rebel Smuggler" in wave IV, even tho we already have Jyn Odan, so I hope the trend continues. It's really nice to have minis that can pull double duty in the RPGs.

Also an AT-PT. Love those things.

A co-op system for campaign play similar to descent 2 so everyone around the table can work together!

This this this.

This would also allow solo play if you wanted to test out a campaign before introducing it to your friends. Or if you have no friends. Or if you ate your friends.

There is a fan-made campaigntracker in de google Play-store:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gau.ia.campaign.log

And users with iOS and windows devices... can suck it? I mean, I'm glad someone put in the effort to do that, but even that app is inadequate.

There should be an official app. Not everyone has an android device, and it would make sense to combine army construction with the campaign app. It's all one game, it just needs a digital mobile companion app across all the platforms. It shouldn't be left to the users to have to build it themselves.

Speaking as a Windows phone user, we always suck it.... :(

Amen brother. I love my Windows phone, but sometimes....

Both sides get screwed over for phone types.

Anyways, can we get back on topic?

I would like to see:

- Co-op (i.e. no Imperial player) Campaign

- A campaign that doesn't involve either Vader or Boba Fett at all

- "Dark side" campaign where the "Heroes" are villains

- Three player Skirmish

- Leia and Obi-wan Kenobi

- Speeder bikes

- Ewoks*

* - not really.

King of the Hill Game-Mode : A 2-4 player game mode that would have a central area that players get points by holding. You can not turtle, and it's a free for all rush to the center! Also this mode could stick with a single map - maybe even release it as a playmat so people can do fun skirmish type games without digging through map chits trying to figure out what goes where and where the HECK is my missing 38A?!?!?! I KNOW I HAD 4?!?!? (Just an example).

More large figures - Rebels could use a large model or two (Tauntaun riders perhaps?). Also a Rancor would be awesome and could double as a cooperative scenario. All players work together to defeat the AI controlled Rancor! No Imperial Player needed - just have each player bring 25 points worth of skirmish figures and set it up and go!

So far IA is amazing and I am so happy I bought the game, and can't wait to grab some expansion packs! I was talking a little with my friends and thought maybe instead of an expansion go back in time some, for a clone campaign! Now i'm not saying they should do this soon but I wouldn't mind seeing it sometime in the future, I trust FF and think they could do a spectacular job on it! you could have clones replace rebels and droids for storm troopers. Then have like Obi-wan and Others from the council fighting the Galactic trade federation for star systems and what not. Could get a Wookie as well for a character. And the GTF could have some cool droids and heavy units as well. Then they could also have some Geonosians for some units to go over terrain easier or something like that or have better ranger, or something else. Then Dooku could be Darth Vader for the GTF, or have another member of them to be the elite unit. So for me i think going this route could be really exciting and fun for FF, and could make the expanded universe even better, with some nods to IA!

I'm pretty sure FFG don't have the rights for the prequel characters (bar things like the Nexu that appear else where). Also I'd rather they continued chronologically going into the new movies.

No one should ever have to buy a Jar Jar Binks ally pack. :(

Sniff... No Jar Jar? :(

He has, let's say 3 hp, 2 white for defense with Lucky, non-combatant, allies within 3 spaces get accuracy -2 damage -1(that's right minus), BUT an enemy cannot attack other friendly units if they have line of sight to Jar Jar.

Lol. You guys are making him sound like a figure I want to use...

...(shakes head)...

What am I saying?! Truly, sith treachery at work...

His unique command card could be: play when Jar Jar is defeated. Add him to your victory pile, instead of your opponent's.

They'll make his skirmish mission a legal map so you are forced to buy him.

I think they'd just put some must have skirmish cards into his pack. Oh you want these cards that would go excellent with your squad? You NEED to buy Jar Jar then.

I'd still buy it, use the cards, and use the Jar Jar figure to customise some of the other figures:

Here are some options:

  • Jar jar trampled under AT-ST
  • Jar jar torn apart by wampa
  • Jar jar tied to front of repulsor tank
