Vidager's DIY Storage Insert Solution. Fits sleeved cards, core game, wave 1, standing figs, token trays, extra dice, with spare room.

By Vidager, in Star Wars: Imperial Assault

After some inspiration by other folks that created storage solutions, I've created my own. Though many others are good designs, they didn't meet my needs: primarily the ability to handle premium card sleeves on the cards (I have mayday premium), hold extra dice, standing figures, and fully assembled AT-STs. This includes holding all wave 1, plus having spare room. Also, I didn't want an super complex design that would be hard for people to build. Essentially a little or no compromise solution.

I spent hours on the design and finally came up with something I really like and I've built it and it works great. I wrote up the design guide with pics and schematics.

I threw the design in SketchUp in case anybody wants to take a look or play with it. You can get it here http://1drv.ms/1aFmD5P The above doc should be sufficient unless you plan on modifying the design (which you are free to do).

Manuals sitting on top of the box insert, which sits on top of the top tray. I just cut the box insert to serve as a tray cover. Works well and adds a nice touch.

Let me know if you have any questions and I'll be glad to help.
