For those that might NOT be going to GenCon, will the new Twin Suns expansions and hero packs be out before? Or do you guys think FFG is going to hold back on any new Star Wars products so they can have a big release party at GenCon and people can wait in line for their booth for a few hours?

I love GenCon. I think it's too big for where and what it is, but I still enjoy the people and atmosphere. I probably can't make it this year, but was hoping all these cool new Star Wars products would be out by before then. I mean, if I was FFG, I would probably plan to release at and after GenCon, so I get it. just wanted you all to opine.

GenCon needs to move back to its roots.....the days of just driving only two hours was simple and best!

I'd sure love it to release before then, simply because I want 'more' imperial assault. But I can't say I expect it to be before gencon and with armada and the lcg and xwing, my wallet or what remains of it, is appreciative of it not coming out before gencon.

Well rumor has it that wave 2 of armada is supposed to come out in July, hopefully it is true, and hopefully wave 2 of imperial assault or just twin shadows are able to come out either before or near the release of armada's wave 2.

Gencon would be ideal, I will be pleasantly surprised but its earlier this year and Fantasy Flight has a lot on their docket.

The initial promo article for Twin Suns stated it'll be available in the second quarter of 2015. Which should be well before GenCon which is 30 July to 02 August and well within the third quarter of the year.

Of course, if there were print and shipping delays...

My money is on it hitting shelves mid to late June, with Wave 3 seeing release at GENCON. If that is the case, will we see an announcement for the next wave after wave 2 hits, or more likely at the Con?

I don't know if you guys are aware, but FFG has a habit of being off by a quarter from their projected release date.

I went to May the 4th at FFG's headquarters in Rooseville MN and ask a person demoing SW:IA. He said they are trying to get it out BY gencon, and if they don't have it all the way released by then, they will fly out copies for Gencon as well as their headquarters. Either way I'll get my copy by then it looks like

By GenCon likely means AFTER GenCon for everyone else. With it almost being June and no Boat Status, I think it's a safe assumption. I mean holy geez, the X-Wing Imperial Raider was announced back in friggin' December. Star Wars Orgy at the FFG booth this year.

not gonna happen, armada wave 2 is still in development

at this rate we'd be lucky to see it by late fall

I've heard from a store yesterday that IA Wave two June, Armada wave two July, IA wave three August and XWing wave seven August.

I hope not. It's a bit too aggressive for my budget and doesn't give time to get used to stuff.

If I had to bet I'd guess Twin Shadows is a gencon release. They usually release a force pack and some LCG event a week early at gencon then release it to stores the next week.
