What is everyone's thoughts on this list?

I'm not sure what Kaa’to Leeachos pilot ability adds to your list. Do you think the headhunter would get focussed first? Otherwise i dont see why you would want to use it on either of the two others.
Munitions Failsafe doesn't work very well with Cluster Missiles. It only triggers if you miss on both attacks.
Kaa'to is going to be hard pressed to make any use of his ability in this list. Your other two ships are going to be able to make much better use of a focus token than Kaa'to will. For the same points as that Kaa'to you might want to consider N'dru with Lone Wolf and a Cluster Missile.
You've got 1 point left over and it doesn't seem like you really need an initiative bid. I'd probably put either VI or Determination on Kavil. In some games Determination will be a wasted point but in the games that it triggers once it's easily worth 4 points.

I assumed it was because Kaa'to is the cheapest Scum pilot with an EPT slot.
Taking a focus away could help as the ship I'm taking it from won't be ble to use it for offense or defense.

Nope, that's the HWK pilot Palob.
It's a pity, kaa's pilot ability is brilliant for a missile sh. But a z95 isn't a missile ship, once the shot is discharged he looses most of his clout. Thus you kind of need to go big (assault missiles) or consider someone else. That being said he's a decent bodyguard carrier to a hawk.
I would either replace him for the higher skilled pilot (who in my opinion is pretty terrible. I never got serious mileage out of his effect.) or a ywing. Alternatively a scyk with stealth device and mauler could be decent, since it would probably be fairly low down on the priority table.

His PS is too high to be good at that. The only HWK he can Bodyguard for is Dace Bonearm, unless Palob takes VI or you have some sort of Swarm Tactics or Decoy shenanigans going on with a PS6 or higher pilot.
