MC80s & IMP Star Destroyers: How many will you buy?

By Phenolphthalein, in Star Wars: Armada

1 ISD, 1 MC80, 2 of every other ship model in the game. 2 of each squad pack.

At least 2 ISDs and definitely 3 MC80s(gonna main rebels). Really looking forward to epic games and I want to be able to field all the named MC80s in case a battle of endor reenactment goes down :D

1 of each then prob another ISD when they get round to the SSD so they look like its escorts. Only gonna get 1 mon cal because in my head i picture it being the rebel big dog with all the smaller rebels forming up around it

At least two ISDs. At least one MC80, because it's practically a given that there will be a winged version in the future and I'll get that too.

The ISD is THE iconic (capital) ship from Star Wars, and I intend to play BIG games with this ruleset, so I need at least two of these suckers.

That. Maybe some more ISDs, for real grand scale battles and some other Rebelcraft (Winged Mc80, Mc60s) because I like the Rebels to be a mix of ships and not a streamlined military force.

I always liked the Victory SD, but I dont see them fielded in large numbers.

Ceterum censeo Raider esse delendam

So when wave 2 comes out, the standard game will be 400 points. How many do you think we can fit of each in a list? Is it ever going to be worth it to take more than one? Are you going to get more than one or two anyway?

Forgive the question, but where was it announced that the standard game will be 400 points? I can't recall anything about that.

On-topic: I'll try and grab one of each of the expansions when I have the money for it

1 ISD

I think 1 ISD and 1 MC80 will be sufficient initially.

1 of each until I see if more are feasible/useful in a standard build after release.

One MC80 as the ship is really "Home One" and the winged version is almost a shoe-in.

2 ISD's for those times (often) when I want to play big games or just non-standard, non-tournie games.

"The Star Wars: Armada tournament format will expand as the game itself grows and expands. At launch, the official fleet size is 180 points. When Wave 1 is released, the official fleet size will increase to 300 points, the round time will increase to 120 minutes, and the Margin of Victory table will be updated. When Wave 2 is released, the official fleet size will increase to 400 points, the round time will increase to 150 minutes, and the Margin of Victory table will be updated. This is the culmination of the Armada tournament format, and will remain the standard from that point on."

One each to start with, with probably one more of each later
