howlrunner anti squadron die 3 or 4?

something in the rhymer thread got me wondering about this, don't have the card on me atm, does Howlrunner get 4 anti squadron die? I've been playing it as 3 and giving all other ties the extra if in range, does her ability work for herself?

This should be in Rules questions :P

She only gets 3, cause it says "when another friendly squadron" so does not benefit herself

The distinction is between "Friendly [units]..." and "Another Friendly [unit]..."

Which matches X-Wing nicely. Everyone except Howlrunner gets the reroll.

That should give us an idea where the named Squadrons are going. Looking at the X-Wing equivalent in the mechanics of Armada. Abilities given to specific squadrons in range (Howlrunner/Swarm). Abilities unique to just the Squadron (Skywalker). Abilities that effect an area regardless of squadron type (Carnor Jax).
