2) Ig88 B (or C), PTL, HLC, Advanced Sensors, Autothrusters.

I like'em both and could go either way. What does the community think?

Might I recommend Stay On Target for Kath and Outlaw Tech for Kath? A friend ran that combo and it's hilariously effective.

Between those 2, I'd go with the robot. I don't like how immobile Kath is with that setup. Efficient, yes, but very predictable.

You know, until your post I didn't realize the OP hadn't included Engine Upgrade on Kath. Apparently it's just a default for me.

I'd go with the IG-88B build, I think: as Sekac says, Kath in that configuration can't move the way she needs to in this metagame. For IG-88C, I'd drop the cannon and possibly include Predator instead of Push the Limit.

Yeah Kath needs engine upgrade, not hlc. She already has an HLC shooting out the back.

Interesting. I don't disagree with the excellence of engine, but I don't think it is necessary - at least not in my local meta. Here the reigning kings are still turret-tanks thus, what is more important in my opinion is consistent damage output.

We can say with confidence that a turret is going to have a shot every turn and with all of the options for re-rolling available those attacks are often for maximum damage. It is true that an engine allows you to arc hunt, but what I really need her is to outslug not outmaneuver. Two arc is generally sufficient to get a shot every turn. The HLC gives quality shots at range and PTL allows her to turtle up. Additionally, PS 7 is kinda in that unusual range where a reposition is kind a crap shoot i.e. you aren't going to get the jump on Soontir.

Anyway. I like both pieces. The above is mostly a devils advocate argument.
