6% of people in regionals agree which is a bit low for a game with its name I think

You guys are obviously way more experienced with this game than I am. You are also a lot smarter about how you build your lists. Crunching numbers? I have no idea how you would even do that.

But I hope that X-Wing fighters become more competitive in the metagame, and soon. I bought the game called "X-Wing" to fly X-Wings. Playing with other ships that I have never even heard of is fun. But (and I know this is obvious to you all...) the X-Wing has become obsolescent due to the release of newer and more competitive fighters with newer and more competitive maneuvers and upgrades.

Here's hoping for the best in the future.

I have had a free Hull Upgrade in my public House Rules since December 8, 2014. A few months later, Dom Cairo suggested making it as you described, on a Scum and Villainy podcast. My newest, and probably final iteration is to go back to the original idea of +1 Hull, but make it a shield instead (puts the jousting numbers where they need to be), also give it barrel roll on the action bar, and make it a title so Wedge et al can still get Engine:

Increase your shield value by 1. Your action bar gains the [barrel roll] action icon.

* Cost 1 for Biggs and Wedge

Edit: Also (I use half points specifically because that's the only way to make the PS4s worthwhile):

Red Squadron Pilot cost reduced from 23 to 22.5.

Hobbie cost reduced from 25 to 24.

Garven gains the EPT slot.

Wes Janson cost reduced from 29 to 28.
