I'm not gonna lie, I was totally skeptical that I could turn out something as good as the pictures, but man scoring your fold lines. Best tip ever!!! Thanks for this. I'm a stickler for in box storage and this totally makes me happy.
SirWilli's Workshop: X-Wing 2.0 stuff
Back at the folding and gluing and such. With all my armada collection in SirWili's boxes; I've done all the imperial assault cards, and have now dived headlong into converting over all of my Xwing storage.
I may now be some sort of papercraft addict.

Yes, before you know it, you're and addict, guess how I started. Perhaps I should add a warning to my page...
Oh, btw, did I mention that I've just uploaded
v2.0 of the IA tuckboxes
?
But don't fear, only minor corrections, basically switching workflow and adding french and italian versions.
EDIT:
Woah, great photos! You must have been really dedicated... Very neat results, btw.

Three days of cranking out boxes, often during slow periods at work ;3
The tuck boxes take up far less space than the original foam trays, need the gear box to go with the tie advanced in the raider set, and boxes for the t-70 and TIE/FO from the new core set, other than that have everything else printed. Going to double what you see in those photos by the time I'm done with my Imperials.
I blame you for this, you magnificent bastard. ;3

This is a great comment, really, if I ever have time for my personal comments hall of fame, this will make it!
Aaand it's preview time, I managed to take photos of my new TIE and do a little photoshop:
I have to admit, I kinda like the blue!
FYI, in the future all Rebel/Imperial/Scum hangars will get the red logo, Resistance/First Order ships will get the blue one.
Still need to update the icon, though, it's the old one. Waiting for armoredgear7 to update his fantastic X-Wing font: https://github.com/geordanr/xwing-miniatures-font
Scanning those tiny pilot card icons does not produce appropriate results...

Wunderbar!
The "Move all the X-wing into SirWili's boxes" project is practically concluded on my end, 7 days or so to get all of the boxes made. At this point, all that's missing is the TIE/FO, T-70, and a gear box for the TIE Advanced stuff that came with the Imperial Raider.
the next challenge is deciding how I want to consolidate storage for the whole collection. Yay, logistics >.>
Wohoo, this looks GREAT! Working really hard on the TFA update right now, lot more things to do than expected...
And I really don't want you to be mad at me, but you do realize that the upgrade card boxes feature title and logo on the top and bottom since v3.0? And v5.0 which is currently fine tuned will have the official titles from the TFA reference book.

I'm waiting.

It's ok. I've had the current upgrade boxes for a while and will probably update them piecemeal as they get damaged or overflow with new cards

And because I can't stand the feeling that Gazerfoxie hasn't anymore paperwork to do:
http://www.sirwillibald.com/?p=2041〈=en
The Force already has awakened on my website, stuff for the new core set has been added in multiple ways, see above for details. And share mistakes veery gentle, I'm really exhausted, that was a big one.
EDIT: No fancy photos this time, sorry, did I mention that I'm tired?

Excellent, my friend! the TFA stuff was almost all that I'm missing. Question: do you have a gearbox for the TIE/ADV that comes with the Imperial Raider yet? I hand't spotted it.

Scoring fold lines is the key to the magic.

Should be included in the new TFA GearBox update file, unless I didn't mess it up.

Got it! and all caught up now! The only thing up in the air is how I'm going to handle tokens
@Gazerfoxie:
Wow, cool ships! And good idea to paint the hangars, looks great!
@Foreign language players:
I'm currently working on an italian version of all X-Wing tuckboxes (the Microhangars might follow some day, but this is significantly more work) with the help of a dedicated italian player. Because of the automation process I have established for creating the pdf files, this is a rather easy task. And since the french version of my IA boxes is a hit on my website in terms of download counts I figured it's time for more.
Here's the deal:
If you're interested in translated tuckboxes and if you're able to provide me with a bunch of translated phrases, feel free to send me a PM with your mail adress and I will share my language file!
@All:
I think I've worked out a prototype for a modular marker box that can be adapted to everyone's individual requirements quite easy. Small footprint, stackable and very sturdy. And building it is significantly easier than building the CardHolders. Stay tuned!
Heh, thanks! Basically just using colored sharpies to color the tongues on the hangars.
SirWillibald, I am having some issues with the wave 7 microhangars. All of them are just a tiny bit too small. I have verified that we are printing the correct format (letter). This includes K-Wings, K-fighters, and punishers. Have not tested the Hounds Tooth as of yet.

Hmm, did you check out the pictures here:

K-wing and Khiraxz have to be put in at an angle, this was necessary to prevent them from rattling around. But the Punisher is really straightforward, you really can't do it wrong.
The page format isn't the biggest issue, please also read the first question and answer from my FAQ page:

Thanks for the response! It must have been something our local print shop did. They fit now. Great work! Keep them coming!
@Gazerfoxie
What did you use to score your fold lines? That looks like it would help a lot. (or for anybody else, what's a good method to score)
@SirWillibald
Awesome work as always, your hard work is much appreciated, sir!

Believe it or not, I use a set of bent tweezers with a narrow rounded tip and a metal straightedge to do all my scoring. works well enough. butterknife and a straightedge works too.

Gotcha, do you puncture along the scoring line at all? It looks like the edges of your boxes are dashed, was wondering if that was the lighting or what?
Possibly a dumb question, do you score on the opposing side of the fold? i.e. say you're doing a mountain fold for the lid of a tuck box, do you score on the inside or outside?
Thanks!!
