Tutorial Video on YouTube

By jcikal, in Warhammer: Invasion The Card Game

Will there be a tutorial video for Warhammer LCG done in the same style as the excellent ones for Game of Thrones & Call of Cthulhu? Those videos sure sold me on both LCG games and they're great to show to newcomers to the scene as well. The narration, tone and atmosphere for each were very well done. Each video conveyed the theme of the game it was teaching very well.

Hopefully something in that similar vein can be done with Warhammer LCG.

PS: Any big expansions (60-120 new cards) coming for Warhammer in 2010?

I sell more copies of FFG games after showing customers the FFG tutorial videos. I completely sold out of Cthulhu CCG when I started leaving the web tutorial up in the shop. I should start producing my own at this point. It's an amazing sales tool not to mention an invaulable asset for players.

There is acompanion expansion coming out which will give us a new faction (two) to add to the core set. I would have to assume that it is the High and Dark Elves due to their "spoiler" inclusion in the base set and that the Skavens are beiong focused on in the new Cycle of Battle Packs... though when any of this actually hits shelves is anybody's guess. I assume when they show up for purchase on FFG's site that they will be hitting stores in the US around the same time. Strangely enough, since the printing and distribution of foreign cards is handled by different parties, some countries overseas may actually see the cards before people in the states... at least it happens that way sometimes with A Game of Thrones.

You don't have to assume that it's the High Elves and Dark Elves in the Companion Set because the Rulebook quite clearly states that those are the races that come in the Companion Set. ;)

I've pretty much ignored everything in the rule book that wasn't rules. :) I have enough to commit to memory. lol.

I have to say that tutorial really helped me understand this game. Now, I will have to see if it "comes home with me" in the very near future...I mean it does have adding and such in it...reading too...so...."But, honey, it will help the kids with their learning, see math, reading, imaginative story telling."

:-)

Sorry about the double post...computer "hiccuped" on me!
