Don't get the one you like, get the Falcon.

The Falcon has more upgrades that you need for your other ships, being the Engine Upgrade, Shield Upgrade and Veteran Instincts.

The YT-2400 is a great ship on its own, but it doesn't add quite as much to a growing rebel fleet as the Falcon does. And if you actually knew which one you liked more, you wouldn't be here asking for advice would you?

not getting the thing you like kinda defeats the purpose of playing this kind of game

unless you're planning on going super competitive, the cards are really a secondary concern. Any casual games and local tournies should let you get away with proxies provided you let people know before-hand

"Get what you like" just seems like a lazy answer to me. Like, do you really think OP didn't think of that? It's much more likely that FlyingAnchors likes both and came here looking for info.

Cards might be secondary to the ship itself, but they're still a very important factor in choosing a purchase if you're in a limited budget. I suppose if you're the type that just buys 2 of every ship that ever comes out, then knowing what cards come in your ship is less if an issue.

"get what you like" isn't the complete answer, it is only the driving motivation
