Hey guys, we have started our first RT Campaign and its great, I have a story in the background that holds a red line - while they are doing other adventures. And sometimes they cross paths.
So now i was thinking of using the Shedding Light scenario.
My question is how can I get them to Jericho Reach without destroying the fluff.
That is a seriously restricted area guarded by alot of fleet ships, right? With the portal somewhere near the Maw...
How did/would you do?
Shedding Light
Someone would need to send them, and clear their passage. Which means they need a friend in the Navy, a friend in the Munitorum or a friend in the Inquisition.
Also, IIRC the portal is not just "near" the Maw, it's in it.
Alternately, move the Shedding Light scenario to the Periphery subsector or another nearby sector.
Edited by QuicksilverWhat he said. The books make reference the RTs dicking around and going through the gate with the OK from some bigshots. As RTs(and players) they rub elbows with those types on the reg. Doesn't seem like much of a stretch at all for them to somehow hook up with someone who has the juice to get them through.
It might not be too hard to get there, if they know about the gate, or someone decides to send them, and educates them. One trick to tell them, though, is to remind them you may not be able to as easily come back. It's often one-way, and a big secret from most people. They might have to divest themselves of some Koronus assets, or arrange for part of their dynasty to administer them, in their absence.
