WSF Bumper Cars

By LegionThree, in X-Wing Squad Lists

So the thought behind this list is to take the large rock and two largest debris. You want to make a pocket or triangle just on your opponents side of the 50. Get the fringer in front of a Y and the bandit and keep one Y as a flanker. Drive into the pocket force the enemy to turn in to fight you and then plug up everything while the Y's hammer away.

So far this has done well for me. I think its weakest against dual turret lists that don't have to fly at you to shoot you and can cover a lot of ground. High mobility is difficult but between rocks and an Intel Agent Fringer you can usually do a good job of plugging holes and making them bump.

Any thoughts feel free to leave them here.

Autothruster nightmares?

Frazio, I don't really have that big an issue since I use the WSF to find out where the arc dodgers are headed and try to get in the way to cause bumps. This usually plugs them up enough to let the squad get shots. Sometimes the high mobility is hard but their isn't a whole lot to do about that besides adding a suber mobile high PS ship to the list.
