This has been in the rules for some time now, are you all just now reading the rules for the first time?
Old news to some but really annoyed at the FAQ
WOW THIS IS SCHEIßE <--- german means **** or bullshiet.
diidnt know of that omgeeez u cant dodge auto blasters aswell now ? wow fk me then iam turning to my shielded pirates now empire is dead.
thx FFG for nuthin yes nuthin not nothing
Calm down. Let's just take a look at the range for this "over powered" unbeatable weapon:
What's that?? Range 1?? So what magic is needed to completely annul it?? Is there any?? Ohh, I guess staying away from Range 1 would work just fiiiiiine ;-)
Yeah range one cannon that does less than the primary attack of most ships that can mount it, not that scary.
And ten has never been scary,

It is terrifying!
If the most obnoxious thing on the table I have to face with my swarm is an overpriced 8 PS B Wing with a Mangler cannon on it, sign me up.
It's still within the realm of normal X Wing IMO. It could be worse, everyone in your area could be a Tryhard Turretwing player.
Fixed that for you.
Cheers for clearing it up guys
As i said ages ago, i realise i'd made a mistake in the rules.
No need to bang on about it for another page once a man admits he's wrong ![]()

Yeah you know that's not true as men we must mercilessly jump on the weakest member of the pack until some other poor sod says something and we jump on him.
If we don't well have to talk about icky feelings and none of us want that.
So 'evade' tokens now count as a 'dice result'
Thats just poor on FFGs part.
To me the 'evade' action is the lynch pin of keeping an imperial fleet alive.
It meant that even with horrific abilities to make some hits uncancellable by dice you had a *chance* with evade.
Now essentially you have a few pretty much 'auto hit/autocrit' oppoents out there that used to be 'good' but are now 'ridiculous'
(tien numb with mangler was brought to my attention)
Its not like im going to stop playing or anything but i think that bit of the FAQ is getting deleted from our house rules
It only affects Autoblaster which was overpriced and Autoblaster Turret which is a tiny range peashooter on a poorly maneuverable platform. The two autoblasters are hardly "horrific effects."
dude, did you even read my last post?
Its not like its even lost in the ether, in pages of text, it six inches above you!
christ ![]()
Ok, ill say again. I was *wrong* , ive admitted this, can we move on.
Its been pointed out its not that much of an issue, i accept that. There is no need to keep going over this.
dude, did you even read my last post?
Nope. I read your original post.
Tends to be good practice to read a thread entirely before commenting. That way you dont bang a drum thats already been broken, say something thats already been said three times or otherwise make a redundant post.
My OP has been altered to help you in future ![]()
Hey man, it's been like this for ages.
I hope you understand and eventually admit you were wrong.
![]()
Yeah but i feel like im in a timewarp as i realised i was wrong about 24 hours ago but the argument keeps on ![]()
Dude, just stop arguing. The rules have always been this way.
Are you even reading what people have said?
hahahaha ![]()

You're wrong, it's been that way from the beginning!
Well, I agree with the OP.
By agree, you mean: that's the way the rules have been the whole time and the FAQ just clarified it, right? Because that's the OP's position now.
OP should read the OP where OP says out right he was wrong.
OP thinks the new rule clarification is still OP in his modified OP

No, I mean I agree with the OP.
I'm not even sure what the OP1's OP2 is on the OP3-ness anymore, with all the changes OP4 made to the OP5 regarding his OP6 on the rule's OP7 status...
Maybe we should just take this OP8 to listen to some OP9 with the OP10 and reflect on his original OP11, his thoughts on OP12.
Any OP13 of the OP14 this is a good idea?

Oh no
The OP says its OK.
Seriously, i was a bit initially like 'heck that crimps my interceptor lists style a bit' and bummed out.
Then i gave in to the fact that my objection to a rule change was actually an objection to a misunderstanding i had over a rule that was clarified to a way in which i objected.
But i accepted that i was wrong
then i was won over to the point that the worst possible combination that could take 'advantage' of the 'correct' rules was neither very common or deadly and if it did come up I had a list that really wouldnt worry about it.
So the OP with regards to 'rules' .... clear as mud now eh.
OP version2 was my annoyance when people cant be bothered to read a thread entirely and think that they have some insight that cant possibly have been previously added so just post something thats either redundant or been said a ton of times before, so OP2 is 'please dont reply any further'
But as its been pointed out im flogging a dead horse.
Anyway, its much better now its got more humour in it.
So OP is OK
Or Gecko and I could just agree to agree with *whatever* each other says regardless to both save time and make things easier to understand for everyone else.
