Top View Illustrations?

By Dathbain, in Wings of War (WWI)

Anyone know where I can find some top view reference illustrations? Ive looked online and found a couple of good ones, but I thought I would ask anyway. It doesn't matter what nationality, I just need some inspiration. I started drawing some planes for my cards but I would like to color them realisticly, and not just guess or make up my own!

Thanks, Dave

We have a pretty good thread full of links going on on the Wings of War Aerodrome site.

Super sweet! Thanks Guys!

Dave

Look for the "Ospray" range of books. They pretty much have a book deidecated to each type of aircraft with loads of info, b/w photos and colour pictures of the aircraft in verious colour scheems. You wont be disopointed!!

True, but there is also Windsocks books with blueprints in them. Ospreys books are more about the pilots themselves even though they have a lot of illistrations of the planes. Windsocks are about the planes.

This site might be helpful but I am not sure if it is legal or not (so I of course reccomend you to find that out first before downloading anything). Anyways do they have some books for downloading free. military-machine.blogspot.com/

There is also a serie called "Aircraft in action" that have many nice pictures in them.
