Dual Firespray for tourney. Advice needed on weaknesses.

Hi all

Having tried Scum ships this past month I have tried almost all different kind of lists like dual aggressor, Xizor and Z-95s and Firespray and Z-95s. But lately I have been using 2x Firespray in Boba Fett and Eamon Azzameen. Have not lost yet against Dash/Corran, Falcon/Z-95s, Fel/Jax/Shuttle. But I have not really tried against meta lists.

I was wondering if you guys might give some advice on this list of mine..

I would fly the 2 ships seperately baiting them with Eamon dropping bombs and Fett coming in to flank..

Advice and opinions appreciated..

Interesting build. I have yet to play dual Firesprays but it looks solid. The only thing I'm noticing is Tactician on Boba... he wants to be at range 1 (ability + Autoblaster) and Tactician only triggers at range 2. I think I would trade Inertial Dampeners and Tactician for Recon Specialist. Emon is very strong as is. I have played him before and Tactician works nicely with is ability, as the "3" maneuver templates for dropping bombs mean you will be at range 2. So you can can then attack the same ship that was hit by a bomb. I would prefer three Proximity Mines though, since their damage output can be higher and they remain in the play area in case they don't trigger right away. You'd then have 1 remaining point to keep Inertial Dampeners on Boba (with Recon Specialist), or for an initiative bid.

My thinking with Tactician on Boba is that range 2 or range 1 he does something to the enemy, either giving stress at range 2 or use his ability at range 1. The stress also prevents people from k turning or doing the s loop.. Proton bomb has been good for me as after I drop proximity he opponent would most likely be near me, so I would drop proton to do more damage.. But you idea sounds good too.. Might test it out if I have time before regionals.

I'd put the proton bomb on boba instead. When he's at ps10 with VI, he's incredibly scary against fel+jax lists.

I've always liked Kath and Boba.

Fly kath in front of boba in wide arc. anything daft enough to get caught between you is shredded.

Flew before, didn't really work out.. What you loaded them with?

Intimidation is good on Scum Boba as well. Being at range one all the time you can almost guarntee some collision action. Taking away a green die always makes me smile !

I flew something similar at a recent tournament. I like the list, but I would recommend you swap Outmaneuver for Predator and Tactician for Outlaw Tech on Kath. In my experience, trying to get Kath behind the bad guys doesn't work too well, partially because it's easy for them to block you out of doing that and partially because, if you are behind them, you'll have at most two rounds of shooting before you're out of range. Kath thrives on being chased around the board.

I also ran Boba and Emon in a local league night tourney not long ago. had pretty good good success with:

Boba w/ VI, autoblaster, K4, eng 52

Emon w/ K4, 3 x prox, title 48

100 pts

Boba gets in close where he likes it, shreds shields, Emon does fly by, poops a prox in the path of "or" plants a prox turd on the hood of someone ruining everyones day...worked quite nicely...took a bit of practice tho..

Won 3 lost 2. The 2 losses were close..

Autoblaster was great and I was giving stressed out like candy. And my bombs did a lot of work..

Had fun flying them..

I'm also going to try a 2 firespray list. Admittedly becuase I painted them up and now want to run them.

Kath with engine upgrade, K4 security droid, and predator.

Emon in the Andrasta with engine upgrade, a proton bomb and two proximity mines.

I may drop the proton bomb down to a seismic charge and pick up a tactician and inertial dampners on Emon.

The other option was swapping predator for lone wolf and inertial dampners on Kath if I decided to keep the ships away from each other.

okay.. is autoblaster worth it?

It seems like it funily is nowadays in the high agility meta. And versus c3po.

You gotta work for it though, its expensive. Like taking Gunner. I wouldn't mind dropping it, but I'd very happily have it.
