Seriously though, barring the dial being utter crap (if its an X i'd be okay). There are some GREAT squads you can put him in. Scum is looking to be a wonderfully powerful and diverse group.

Actually, with the new TieAdv pilots, the Imperials are really getting some good versatility too.

For Rebels... I think I'm going to stand that 2 fat turrets are still gonna be top game. What else? I dunno.

I'm doing it, too. I really want to make the scum x-wing work, and I like its style.

For more vanilla squads, I think 3x z-95, 2x cartel kihraxz, and Serissu could be fun. Still in the dark about kihraxz dial and base cost, but its kinda safe to infer it can't be worse than an x-wing or cost more than 21 points. If it is cheaper than 21 points, then perhaps some small PS bids could be done with the squad.

I propose that from now on, when referring to this ship, type the first few letter and then headbutt the keyboard to simulate the profusion of consonants in the name.

I'll throw in my Cobra build:

Cobra Commander + Predator + EU + Glitter

Kavil + VI + ABT + EU + Unhinged

Palob + Expert Hand. + K4 Sec + ICT + Dampeners

All like the close range fight and I got 2 pilots at PS 9. Really I just hope to make the target prioritizing hell. Cobra is a lot of points at 37, but Kavil is pretty nasty with the ABT. Palob is a pain to deal with and will be sort of hard to kill when they won't have many dice modifiers. I can shred a TL with Expert Handling if possible. Hopefully he can zap something so Kavil and Cobra can set up a kill shot.

They shouldn't, they don't have astromechs in the fluff (they use nav computers instead).

They should - adding an astromech slot would instantly fix them ... and just for the case you havn't noticed: FFG is changing and making fluff.
