You guys (gals, and gentlebeings),

We've had now three different sitings of the unicorn-level rare Forum-user FFGEvan. Sadly, these are sitings of sadness and not great joy. FFGEvan has shown himself to a Forum-user of immense power, capable of locking down whole threads with a single post. While the argument may be made that he is attempting to bring balance back to the Forum, his presence is nevertheless as terrible as it is great in these troubled times. Each appearance of FFGEvan has been accompanied by great disturbances in the Forum. It can be no coincidence.

I hereby submit that we, less powered Forum-users, band together to stop FFGEvan from interacting with the greater Forum through a combination of respect, lightheartedness, humor, and a general appreciation for the fact that our forum-powers revolve around... plastic spaceships.

It is only by pledging ourselves to these ways can we band together and defeat Master Forum-user FFGEvan. His reign of power is still in its infancy, let us not tarry within our sectarian/political/opinionated conflicts lest he use them to justify ever increasing power!

He has closed three I believe, today was the third. At present he has 24 posts, we must not let him garner more power as it seems he only uses it to enforce his nefarious will upon others! With each post more threads fall under his control!

Well one was about the Strike situation, which I was one of the ones who commented , but the others were due to Forum members getting too personal. I even called them out for being too aggressive but they got wrapped up in the argument. I shouldn't happen but it does.

That said the forum still has been very civil and more so than many other forums. I can only think of one other forum where the members have been this mature (I guess that's what you would call it ) and that forum we actually know each other in person, so....

But yes, we need to be civil with one another even when we disagree on the touchy subjects. If you don't I will spam pictures of Jar Jar in every thread that becomes an argument. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Hey Maverick I can't tell if you are being cleaverly sarcastic or not, but let's not insult FFGEvan, I am sure he is smart enough to know this thread is in good humor. Keep insulting the moderator like that and he will lock this thread.

I will say I was drawn into the mix on one of the FFGEvan locked down threads. My comment was supporting FFG's amazing customer service. Which I stand behind, but that comment got a bit out of hand. Then the release date thread, holy (expletive deleted). How did that go from the best news I've heard all week to such an eleven page cluster (expletive deleted0 in so short a time? To paraphrase the OP "little plastic spaceships"

In other news, I got to play little plastic spaceships today and I won my first game! All of my other games have been close( one squadron) , but today I actually won. Ummmm...... Pew Pew PewPewPew!

Ironically, the only stickied thread was made by FFGJosh... a rival forum-user who has apparently gone into exile after initially being in power. I'm not going to come out and say that FFGJosh pulled a Yoda or that we can likely infer FFGEvan vanquished him, but...

X Wing Nut: I originally was going to make it "Let's make FFGEvan powerless" or less visible, but I didn't want it to look like a subtle call to some kind of internet forum revolution. I figured lonely was sufficiently childish that it wold keep the humor in it. He's since approved it so all's well.

Cmndr Kahlain: No, thats the lesser powered ffgjosh. He's on Dagobah and less powerful, hence the lowercase letters. FFGEvan is the true power player on the forum, he features capital letters and has wielded his power more visibly than ffgjosh who has gone the way of Yoda.
