Sorry if this is already posted, but what's the best glue/adhesive for reattaching the solar panels to a tie fighter after your three-year old ripped a few off? I don't do anything in the way of repaints/conversions, so I have no idea. Seems like it'd be hard to find something that'd really hold them in place again though. Thx.
How do you reattach TIE solar panels?
A standard gel-type super glue (cyanoacrylate) will work fine. You don't need much. It might help make a better fit, to take a hobby knife and scrape out the existing glue.
Superglue to the rescue! Just keep it away from the TIE-wrecker.
I feel bad for your Tie fighter, but luckily that can be fixed! However I am not sure you can come back from the missed opportunity to call your child a rebel or any rebel pun!
Yep, superglue is the way to go. A tiny drop will go a long way though, don't flood the model with glue.
If it doesn't hold, you can try reinforcing the structure with a paper clip. Drill a small hole with a hand drill on each side, cut the clip to length and glue.
