I flew 3 TIE Interceptors at the tournament and ended going 3-2. My list I took is:
Soontir with stealth, royal, at, and PTL.
Carnor with hull, royal, at, and PTL.
Turr with at and PTL.
My first game was against a brand new player to x-wing flying dual IG. She was so new it wasn't even fair but I tried to offer advicse and help her out. She handled it well and was still playing throughout the day. Easy 100-0
My second game was against 4 Interceptors:
Soontir with PTL
Turr with VI
Lt.
Saber
We started off well, Soontir was able to take Lt. Out on a good range one 4 hit and a unlucky 3 blank evades from Lt. His two ship didn't have shots for the first two rounds from an unexpected break off of formation. Carnor and Turr made quick work off the Saber before it was able to throw even one attack. After that he was able to pull off a good turn and boost to get turr in a vulnerable spot and blew him into the void dispite his turtle efforts. After that with the rage of the Empire Sootir and carnor danced with turr and fake Soontir ultimately destroying them. 100-30 2-0
My next round my luck ran out and I met the list I didn't want to see, 4 Y-wings with Ion Turrets. Needless to say I got destroyed and did nothing. 0-100
Round 4 was against 3 blue squad B-wings with fire control and Jake the A-wing With PTL, at, VI, and chardaan. I quickly got behind the B-wings and destroyed the non focused Jake in one swoop. without him he the mobility of his list crumbled and the TIEs danced on the B-wings giving me the W but, o ly after getting cocky and losing Turr ending in another 100-30.
My last game was against chewie with R2, 3PO, Lone Wolf, and Falcon title, and 4 Zs. Bad flying got Soontir one shot in the 4th round and I knew after that it was over. I was able to take out 1 Z and get chewie and 2 other Zs to 1 hull left put just couldn't get shots on the needed targets for the kill due to good blocking by the player. Ending in 12-100 3-2 final.
Thought I did well in all there really wasn't a gray area with my flying it was either good or bad. I enjoyed playing this and after some more practice I hope to do better in Colorado.
