After paint stripping with Tamiya Laquer Thinner and careful disassembly this is what I have so far.

Yeah it is a decal, you can see it in the full sized images.

Yes decal is still visible. Need another coat of softener . Then I will coat the bomber with a gloss before I weather it. The final stage will be the dull coat and hopefully then the decal won't be so apparent.

I like the idea though I'm not sure if the decal will be visible enough. I certainly hope so though, because we could always use more depictions of slave Leia.

That type of printer is ridiculusly expensive. Better to stick with white decal paper instead.

The decal is great but rather thanthe 'ti punisher' i'd rather have seen bomber repaints in the white/off white scheme you have with bloodstripes.
