FFG was burnt on the dock worker strike. They promised to deliver and couldn't do to forces outside of their control. Do you think that FFG is concerned about this with the Raider? Do you think they might not change the status as they are worried about various delays? Is it possible that they are already shipping the Raider and plan on just popping it in stores quite suddenly? You know, the over perform instead of over sell.

Is it possible that the Imperial Raider could come out before Gencon? Maybe even in the next few months? Possibly? I don't usually pay attention to how long these sneak peak articles come out before actual products hit the shelves. I think I'm just being optimistic, but I want to ask.

The upcoming list is not the end all be all of the product's status. For the LCGs, a whole cycle is printed and shipped together, so even if it says on the boat, after the first release, the rest of the packs are already in the warehouse.

So says the article. If it does turn out to be a "stealth release," I think it's more a matter of forgetting to update the status on the website rather than intentionally not informing us that it is shipping.

Though that's hardly definitive and could simply mean "Someday it'll be in stores, though it's not necessarily in transit at this exact moment".

But I really, really hope the website just hasn't been updated and this thing is rapidly approaching shores and/or stores as we speak.

It is possible but please don't get your hopes up. Really. There is very little evidence that the Raider ever finished printing, and ever made it past teh boat phase... so it's just wishful thinking at this point.

It's also possible that they spoil it next week and the Raider comes out the week after that!

For another, everything gets spoiled at gencon by people who buy the stuff. Not everything has been known for most of the gencon releases.

Scum also didn't reveal Hired Gun or Spice Runner. The M-3A didn't reveal Tansaari Point Veteran. The Tantive IV didn't reveal Princess Leia, Han Solo and I'm also fairly sure it didn't reveal the Jaina's Light title.

So none of the three Raider titles and Emperor Palpatine not being spoiled is hardly unusual.

Which is completely opposite from the thread. The subject was a Stealth release for the Raider. Stealth Device only adds +1 Agility.
