Is Destruction in His Wake necessary?

Also, no Controller of Souls?

While not necessary, it's good. It's a +3 damage when I need it, it allows me to snipe certain cards if I can't get my Uppers or Spinning Demons through (although I need to have certain cards in hand + the DihW so yeah, but Body of Souls can help with that) and it combos with Lightning Uppercut. I look at the different actions in the game right now, and off Chaos I can't see anything I'd rather play.

CoS is a 30$ card. I'm a broke ass white boy, ain't no way I'll hunt down CoS. That and I find the card incredibly overrated. If you really need to negate a PotM string, you're better off with Demon Slayer as a block.

If you were to put in Communing With The Ancients as well, you could use Kazuya as your kill enabler by pumping your checks as high as possible using Communing and Unnatural Grace, then blowing up both players staging areas, letting you still have your check uppers to play your attacks and kill without them being able to block anything without a staging area

i think you should find something else besides wheel kick.....if your blowing up the world your not going to need the one damage afterwards or the stun 3 since theres no staging area

and i guess if you cant then its nice but if your not blowing up the world your not playing him right lol

Screw Controller of Souls. It's severely overrated and that's why it's still more expensive than it's worth. Try Scroll of the Abyss, considering he can use both other abilities AND has asset destruction (not just one time negation).

Wheel Kick is 3 Difficulty 3 CC, has a Block and the Kick keyword, allowing for Lion Slayer for 5. Find me another card with those stats and get back to me.

Also, the E is better than the form in B4.

How about Swing Kick? Off of Death, which most of your deck has. It has a Block (better and rarer than Wheel Kick) as well as Kick. It is 2 Difficulty, 3 damage when done right, and can offer another Low attack for Destruction in his Wake (Spinning Demon does as well, but if it is multipled, it messes up the combo).

Also, if you plan on staying Chaos for the attack line-up, why not use First Rite and Shadow Flare? They are a solid combo, and can be very easy to play with a Unnatural Grace out (Grace on a 4, First Rite on a 3, Flare on a 3 if Rite does damage). With Kazuya's ability, it can pump them both up to fairly good damage, and fairly high speed.

I plan on staying Chaos for the entire thing, really. Flare, however, is indeed a nice addition. If I remove Lion Slayer, Flare goes in it's plate. If I remove Slayer, First Rite replaces the Wheel Kick. It'll have to be tested, but sadly I have pretty much no time to play at the moment.
