Help with some imperial list for the regionals

By situation, in X-Wing Squad Lists

Well i tryed a lot of squads in the last month (3 interceptors, 3 phantoms, 8 tie.fighters, decimator + phantom and a lot more) and i'm not sure which one it's the best to play into the regionals

can you guys give me some list that you would use so i can get an idea

It really depends on what your local meta looks like. I took a list that would have done well in my area to another area and it wasn't that useful there since they weren't running things similar to my area.

Turret/Arc Dodger combo has done quite well in the past and will probably continue to do well.

Chiraneau/Whisper

Whisper/mini swarm

Soontir/mini swarm

all are good but it depends on what you are comfortable flying. At the end of the day it comes down to dice rolls and flying strategy. Having a turret takes a bit of the flying strategy out of the picture.

the meta here it's like 30% Fathan 30%decimator + something and the rest are 2 Ig's or the 3 interceptor squad

i tryed in the past whisper + small swam but did not went well.

i'm trying to bring back the glory to the phantoms (after the new FAQ) but i can't find the right squad )=

Whisper generally is okay against turrets, but the other phantoms can struggle due to getting hit by higher PS shots before they can recloak, meaning that they take a bit of damage each turn, so you feel like you are on a ticking clock, trying to get in as much damage before your ships die (and that can lead to piloting errors).

If you are facing lots of turrets, then I would suggest at most 1 phantom (whisper). And something with HLC or mangler (since these kill turrets fast). You could also try running interceptors with autothrusters if you are comfortable with that. I've had good success with:

Whisper w/ VI, Intel Agent, FCS & ACD

Soontir w/ PtL & autothrusters

Turr w/ VI & autothrusters

Its not forgiving though, so mistakes can be punishing ;)

This list should be strong against a heavy turret meta, and is annoying to deal with due to all the stress:

Whisper w/ VI, Rebel Captive, Sensor Jammer & ACD

Kath w/ calculation, tactician, 'mangler', engine upgrade & proton bombs

If you can multi-stress the turret, it will have no actions and thus be unable to hurt Whisper because of sensor jammer. Also, its moves will be very predictible making it easier for you to get shots.

Another idea:

Whisper w/ VI, FCS & ACD

Delta defender w/ HLC

Omnicron Shuttle w/ vader

The nice thing here is all of the ships hit hard so your opponent will be afraid to get in range of any of them. This might force an error on their part, and if you can focus all your shots on the turret, you can destroy it quickly (although this might be tricky to pull off due to the differences in dials).

Omicron pilot (Darth vader - anti-pursuit lasers)

what you think about that?

Sounds fine except meh to the anti-pursuit lasers. I'd prefer 2 intel agents instead or leave off for init. Bid.

yeah ill change the anti-pursuit lasers for 1 intelligent agent so i have 99 points and get the init

ill test this in today's tournament

I like Echo with Soontir and Turd I have found they get targeted first instead of echo due to the end game Soontir hate. use them as bait and bring the elusive echo in behind.
