Hello all,

Of course I would get news today; SW Armada Wave 1 is set to release from U.S. distributors on May 12th. Look for these ships and fighters at your FLGS that Tuesday or the following few days.

And now we wait for Wave 2 news; FFG is hoping to have Wave 2 released in July, but as we all know things can change. When I get more concrete news I will let you know.

EDIT: Wow! 11 pages and over 200 replies; you all are a credit to the FFG community. However a lot of comments have started to become argumentative and possibly trolling in nature so I have sent a request to the moderators to lock it down.

I see absolutely nothing wrong with facilitating discussion on any topic whether it be politics (reason my last post was locked) or Gaming Stores vs Online business as long as the discussion is kept positive. Sadly, it looks like it is slipping away from that.

This discussion was actually my fault when I commented about supporting your FLGS; I realize that and take full responsibility. My only intention was to acknowledge that local gaming stores have a hard time in this day and age of online shopping; most stores can't afford to offer standard discounts because they have bills to pay which is why I simply stated to support them if you can.

I, of course, realize this not possible at times due to income limitations, distance from game stores, or a lack of positive attitude game spaces so by all means: get your loot and game away however you can! Just remember there's a gaming store that needs you and maybe you could buy your next hobby tool, set of paints, or Munchkin deck when you visit.

On a final note: Wave 1 arrived on the US East Coast on Tuesday and is slated to arrive on the West Coast on Friday.

well, I was planning on making a bit of a road trip to another FGS to help support my Brick and Motors. Initially I was too optomistic and thought this weekend would be a good time to pick them up.

Now I an delaying the trip a week, and now smack dab into the Collages graduation day

I wish I could tell you, but I'm not privy to info on the Aus market, only U.S. But, knowing what I do, my speculation is another 3-6 weeks for you guys once distributors in the US ship to Aus. Or you can pay a leg on top of the arm you already pay for shipping and get priority air.
