Buy high point ships. They fill up a list faster. I really like having a number of Tie Fighters in my lists, but that's $15 for only 12 pts.
Affordable x-wing expansions
The cheapest (U.S.) places have been listed already. There are none cheaper that I am aware of and no buy one get one free sales. Miniature Market do a "deal of the day" and if that's an X-Wing ship, it will be the best deal on X-Wing that you will find, but will sell out very quickly.
If you're not in the U.S. then there might be cheaper places to get them from, but even then it's pretty close as U.S. prices are so much lower than anywhere else.
I haven't seen any bogo deals either. What I did, so as not to surprize the wife with $100 on the card, was to start bringing lunch/breakfast from home for a month or so. Those $5 - $10 meal adds up quick. I bought the entire last wave in one lump. Start cutting out coffee or that $.50 soda.

Edited by nathankc+superdave I don't really have time to work, as I'm doing currently doint my B.A. where can I find that type of sale for a decimator/yt-2400?
another question: I've got 2 core sets, one x wing, one y wing, one imperial aces, one tie interceptor, one shuttle, one e wing, one z95, one hwk, one tie fighter, one b wing expansion packs. What should I get next?
Haha- I know you said you don't have time to work; it just stuck out. To a humorous (and unhelpful) point, your question of "what to get next" when you have a collection that rivals mine has an easy answer: a job! (Har har har. I'm tempted to say that if you don't have time for a job, then you don't have time to play games.)
Anyway, the sale I mentioned was on Miniature Market. They do good X-Wing sales but you have to be fast and diligent.
