Uugghhh... you guys are probably sick of me by now for asking too much questions. But I'm a noob, I need your help.

To escape Dash's Heavy Laser cannons, should I be "at" range 1 or "within" range 1?

HLC cannot fire both at Range 1 and within Range 1.

So I guess the answer is not to escape the doughnut hole?

What if the fore section of my ship is at range 1 but my aft section is on range 2, do I consider myself at range 1,for it is the nearest point of target for him denying his chance of shooting me; or I comply with him and say Im also on range 2 so you may shoot me?

I'm assuming you're not using "fore" and "aft" to the 2 sections of a huge ship...

Range is measured from closest point to closest point.

If any point of your ship is at range 1, your ship is at range 1.

It is not "also at range 2".

Then you are at range one.
