...and hoping May the 4th has lots of new announcements and maybe some previews for new RPG books? I think the last book to come out hit in the end of February, none of the announced ones have release dates, and the last announcement I recall was early March. I don't mind having time to catch up on what I missed but now I want something new badly or at least more of a taste of what the announced books will bring.
Is anyone else crossing their fingers...
Doing my best Red Leader impression: "Almost there...."
I am cautiously hopeful. The slowdown of releases for these books is a little worrying, at times, but I trust FFG to put out good products and to take the time to get them right.
Did they do anything last year? I thought they just sort of had a game day in their centers? Of course it is a Monday and it's as good a time as any for new product announcement.
I really hope that we get some announcements and maybe a goodie in the form of a free adventure or so.
Well I read on the fourms that they said more news would be coming post-Celebration and we haven't heard anything yet so May 4th would be as good a day to give us something. And the diplomat book is at the printers so they have to have enough data on it to do more previews IMO.

Heh, if it is at the printers, then they have the whole thing and not just "enough data" ![]()
May the Fourth be with us.
Don't know what Fantasy Flight is going to be doing for the fourth, but Amazon has a lot of their Star Wars stuff on sale today. Not game books, but if you want resource books....
Sounds like the only thing going on is a contest to win the Boba Fett expansion pack for Imperial Assault, as well as a preview of the Imperial Raider for X-Wing.
Nothing on the RPG front it seems, though one FFG staff member (Daniel Clark) is running the Force and Destiny Beginner Box adventure at their official store this evening.
The RPG got shafted at Celebration too.

What contest? I see no reference to it anywhere.
I saw it mentioned on Twitter by a couple FFG folks, and there was a news item.
But since it was only for the first 10 winners, said news item probably got taken down once the winners were confirmed.
