So you lucky gals and guys with the book what it is like in Koronus Expanse? What is lurking there? Are there fully grown non-imperial human civilizations? Some green skined alien girls for captain Tiberius K?
Koronus Expanse
Yeah, because that Ork slave girl really is one of Da Boyz.

I personally don't use the Koronus Expanse, but I have nothing against it. I can't even claim I don't have complete creative freedom in it, because everything I didn't crib near directly into my setting as a basic necessity is a widely-accepted rumor at best. There are maybe a dozen or so detailed planets, all awesome, and none of them canonically stated as existing exactly that way. Sailors (and by extension, voidsmen) are known to tell tall tales when they come into port for some space rum.
There's a couple bits I particularly find awesome, like the degenerate exiled noble family that now are feared pirates. Or the fact that they named a chaos vessel Optimus Nemesis . Or the planet where the local humans have vehicles resembling Leviathan command crawlers instead of cities. Oh, and the fact that the people who've traveled deepest into the Expanse and best plumbed its depths are a creepy Mechanicus expedition everyone assumes is dead. And....
You get the picture.
I am following your campaign outline at DarkReign40k with great interest and I myself was thinking that I will maybe, just maybe, move my campaign to be more east.
You know where the Wild Things (Tyranids) are...
But still I would love to use parts or even more of the Koronus Expanse.
Ork Boys dressing-up! Kinky!
