I would play with Black Sun Soldiers, of course.

The Krizkrax also gets Black Sun Pilots ... I guess this will be my first repaint then.

I think i'll override my laziness to paint the Christophers.

They were all gunmetal and piloted by black sun in galaxies (the rest were Vaksais).

on the Agressor, A friend of mine made top 4 in the regional where I came 10th with a tooled up agressor and 4 binayre's, which I feel is a better list then brobots.

I really like the Agressor, but as mentioned above, they are totally different ships and fly very differently.

I was tempted to run these instead of 5 binayres, however xizorprefers as many "shields" around him as possible :D

I ran four naked yesterday. It was mainly for laughs and I just wanted to try it out. Against Etan, Wedge and rebel hwk. I won in about less than 30 mins. Definitely an eye opener for me. I will try this list out a few more times, for sure now.

please tell more about how it flies I have been wanting to run it often, as i run guri, xizor generic at the moment. Its good but feels very fragile. How do you approach different match ups with the 4 generics list?

It's more maneuverable than 4 sigmas... Less offense, but those s loops make it hard to guess the direction they'll go

Due to their PS of 1, its hard to block S-loops, too.

I really thought the Starviper would have side 90 degree secondary arcs, but at 2 ATT, representing a dual canon rotating.

That would make them not quite a turret and very unique.

I think scum and villianry is a fantastic faction, because they get all the other EU ships that people consider "not star warsy". Because that was my intial concern with the faction: "Oh it's just going to be rebels with a fresh lick of paint, and be entirely about bounty hunters. Instead, alongside the bounty hunter approch, they are exploring some of the more exotic ship designs in the Star Wars universe to give it's own sene of misfital identity.

Indeed, it's a pity but I could see why they would do that: The ships really do need a sense of their own idenity rather then being recycled products and it would hard to balience ships that are inherently designed to be inferior hodgebodge of parts. As amusing as it would to see them around.

Though then again, I imagine it's more to do with Disney then anything else.

I am genuinely curious as a devoted IG pilot: how is that even possible? How can an IG pilot fail so badly as to not even kill a Z-95?

I've had alot of practice using low PS ships to block with my ties so i just locked him down with the 4 ships, guri took off 6 hit points with an advanced torpedo on one ship and then it was pretty much over.

I've said before they released aggressors are really not that hard to predict movement wise.

Do you want to write up a primer on going against IGs. Esp if you have less PS?

It also depends on the skill of the aggressor pilot. The whole reason I added a flechette torp on xizor is to pin down an aggressor, as I find them hard to deal with if flown properly.

The people I know who run them often use ptl, adv sensors, Autothrusters and hlc's, which hurt.

I could try i'll have to think about it otherwise it'll boil down to "block em" which isn't super helpful.

He doesn't care that 4/5 hit points can be removed with him not rolling a single green die? if guri from my example or some other named pilot does even one damage to him he's gone in a turn.

This list kills him in one turn for the cost of five shields, if it's a two ship list it still has more than enough power to kill a yt-2400.
You can easily arc dodge a headhunter at close range but at range three they cast a pretty big net.
It's by no means a win every single match kind of list but 4-5 damage you cant avoid is not something to dismiss :)

I am starting to think Scum and Villainy is taken from GI Joe.

I've been flying Guri with Title, Advanced Sensors, Autothrusters, and VI. Lately with a Syndicate Y-wing, with R4 and Blaster Turret, as well as a pair of ion Scyks, it's been fun!
