Um proximity mines are an action to drop, kind of makes that genius salvamech defunct.
Well here is an explosive list with the correct use of "Genius" ![]()
Kavil: Bomb Loadout - Ion Cannon Turret - "Genius" - Engine Upgrade - Proton Bombs
Eamon Azzameen: Proximity Mines x3 - Andrasta - Dead Man's witch
Binayre Pirate: Dead Man's Switch
I love scum for being able to make bombs out of the ships themselves ![]()
With the engine upgraded Kavil does not have to blow himself up.
Hope this gives ye something to think about, like how to use it when wave VII comes.

Similar to that one but... Emon has a mix of bombs, and ID, to throw them at a suitable moment. The Ys work well if you play in a low PS meta (most of my opponents use the PS2 pilots) so they can drop a SC at a useful moment, and the ABT is good for close in fights.

I considered a proton on Emon,...hmm, its a killer if you can lay that puppy down....best against a large amount of ships if possible...but then again, a prox in Soontirs' windshield is fun...the more the merrier!! LOL!

Sabine's ability will work for both bombers, giving any one bomb per turn that crucial +1 damage. The ion turret cannon and ion torpedoes are there for control to allow optimal bomb placement. Esege's ability should hopefully Miranda to hit early on with an ion torpedo. Hopefully SLAM actions will allow both K-wings to survive long enough to use most of their munitions...

Emon can throw bombs anywhere, and is a bomb himself, kath can also threaten with bombs and add another obstacle with the rigged cargo chute to further limit movement options and has the chance to throw out a 6 dice rear shot that reduces agility by 1, or a 5 dice front primary - unlikely to get off much but fun when it happens
EMon's going to adore Burnout SLAM when it drops. Burnout SLAM plus ASLAM giving him 3 points to do 3-straight 3-turn 3-turn-bomb. Amazing.
But probably too expensive ![]()

Lots of Fun, but NOT a top tier list, although I finished 4th in a 16 people store championship :-) .
It surprises a lot of people, who are not used to bombs, Feedbacks are for anoying Aces. Maybe I need to look at Black market Slicers and revive this list :-)

I had a lot of fun with Kavil, VI, Bomb Loadout, Proton Bomb and FIVE Binarye Pirates each with the criminally underused Dead Man's Switch.
Your MoV will be terrible, but when that proton Bomb slips a direct hit on a few of your Zs and everything blows up...

4 cluster mines a turn is truly awe inspiring - that's 24 tokens all up, or 48 dice. The plasma torpedoes give them some actual pop in a dogfight. You could swap clusers for connor, or Clusters for proximity and upgrade the plasmas to protons. If only I had 8 cluster mine sets, this would be my go-to bomber list.
I've been having lots of fun with this list:
Miranda w/ TLT, C3P0, EM, HomingM, ProtonB, Connor, AdvSLAM.
Warden w/ TLT, Sabine, EM, Connor, , Prox, Seismic, AdvSLAM.
It's got a pretty high skill requirement though, so it's only best if you're very confident in your ability to control the initial engagement.
