Exactly how do I do this? I tried looking at the Help entry about managing your profile, but it told me that it was in the Profile Settings, and when I looked there I found no way of editing it. Do I need a moderator to do this for me?
Editing Member Titles?
It was apparently the case for a while that you could do this after 1000 posts, then it became common knowledge that you could do it and within, like, a week the option seems to have gotten removed. No one knows why. Those of us who were lucky and changed it before get to keep ours but no one since has been able to change it.
When people found out that it was the counts that mattered, all sorts of 1 word posts starting showing up to drive up the post count so people could change their "Member" Title.
It was in settings, just above your birthdate information.
The best was Cubanboy trying to get a his title voted on by the Forum members. That is why his title says "Pending Forum Submission". That happened all within the week that the title switch was taken out. Now he is stuck with it.

I saw my post count and although I only have 700 posts I started thinking about what to put in the title. Guess I can save those few brain cells for some other meaningful task.
