With the X-WING Wave Seven releases announcement I have decided that I am going to build a HUTT Cartel and get my RIM WRAITHS going too. To make sure that all of my ideas are crystal clear in my head I spent my free time last week painting this battle scene.

The majority of ships in this digital painting are actual photos of FFG X-Wing Models which I painted over and edited in good ole GIMP. The whole project took about thirty hours or so. I had a lot of fun making this.

Getting back in the mode to work on these ships again... what with Wave 7 finally out.

Got about a dozen new Banshee pieces cut tonight, nice and clean too. The main hull and rear engine housings; including the rotating main mount, so the thing can VTOL in atmosphere.

Anyhow I am going to get real pictures up this week... prolly.

Dived back in this weekend. More images and some word-stuff at B6*R7... as always.

I made a mess cutting the main pieces this weekend, and all of it is going to be used later for some cool ship derbies... gonna be cool!

Above. My version of your Banshee mostly scratch built. Card stock, Foam, tape holder ring, and medicine cups. The guns and the engines are from other model bits.
