With the X-WING Wave Seven releases announcement I have decided that I am going to build a HUTT Cartel and get my RIM WRAITHS going too. To make sure that all of my ideas are crystal clear in my head I spent my free time last week painting this battle scene.

The majority of ships in this digital painting are actual photos of FFG X-Wing Models which I painted over and edited in good ole GIMP. The whole project took about thirty hours or so. I had a lot of fun making this.

Fantastic painting. Not as fantastic as it would be with Dunelizards, but still totally great.

Mass confusion!! Panic would set in and I'd probably endup shooting a lot of friendlies.

Yup! When we get our Lizards I am going to do another painting with them in my HUTT Fleet.

I got some more work done on the Concept Art for this project. These are the first two Huge Ships that I am going to build.

The Patrol Corvette is going to be the big bad boy for my Hutt Cartel. This is a large-huge-ship.

The first Rim Wraith Huge Ship is going to be The Banshee Escourt, which is a small-huge-ship, like the Rebel Transport.

I did not desing this cool ship, it was done by another artist on Deviant Art. I love it, so I am going to build it.

Say the Banshee escort... I keep thinking it's an upside down toy gun of some sort, though it certainly look quite ship like in that configuration.

I think you mean the Hutt Corvette, if so good eye. It is a crazy Super Soaker , and it is a very nice start for makeing this Huge EPIC Ship, IMO.

$12 bucks well spent indeed!

I got this one to test the guns quality. I can assure my fellow builders these are very nicely made toys. The plastic is strong and yet very light.

I ordered another type of gun already for an absolutly badass Mandalorian Frigate project to go with my Hiss Tank concepts... that thing is going to be sweet.

May's Collection Diary is all about getting the final purchases needed to setup for this project. I got some more X-Wing models and modeling bits and the important colors of paint too.

Now I can actually start building the Huge Ships and repainting the Small Ships for these Sub-Factions. Summer project extreme like...

It took a lot of fun window shopping to find the perfect bits to make my projects pop. Why build completely from scratch... Hel-Nah! I am willing to spend a few bucks on badass missile launchers & cannons & engines, and such.

Plasticard is for making a base form... IMO.

I think of it as being smart... rather than lazy.

I am going to start working on the Huge Ships this weekend...

I got the special parts and raw materials organized this week and now I am setup to work on these BIG Babies for real.

I accidentally got some more work done of these SCUM Space-Monsters.

This is the tedious stuff that takes time... cleanup and dry fitting so that everything goes together right.

Kinda the least fun part, but it has to be done.

That's pretty brilliant but I think it's worth mentioning that the Vigilon is a sick name for a ship as well.
