Gaarkin looks a little out of place there. Consider swapping him and balance for Luke. Luke can really help your sabs last a little longer - and you get access to the force user command cards.

Gaarkhan is there to have some close combat monster, to just let loose and not worry about cards, but I can see the thing with Luke, then I will have to change the com. cards and not sure if that will work without make to many compromises, but will have a look.

Luke is a much worse melee monster than Gaarkhan. What's worse is that he has a gun and a sweet force multiplier as well. If I had to take one melee-friendly guy in Rebels, it would be Luke hands down.

The more I have thought about it I like Gaarkan and Luke I think. The deep range he has and getting him focused is not that hard. I might be open to doing something like this:

I had been playing the build with Diala because of cleave and so that she can reroll. The more I have thought about it I like Gaarkan with Sab because they can damage him too to get that extra attack also Bodyguard with him could be useful to get him damage and protect some of your sabs. He seems like an odd fit on paper with Sabs but really works well with them. He can be a finisher for sab Blast attacks, Can protect them with Bodyguard. Because of Bodyguard can target the extra attack because it.

I love my all spy squad: Luke, Elite Sab x2, Reg Sab x2, Mak, Gideon But think Gaarkan and Jyn might be better because of the tricks they have overall. Both can be great finishers after a blast attack. Luke is a good finisher to becuse of his tricks and makes everyone around him better.
