The Millinium Falcon has 3 seats for crew and 2 Gunner pods but still only gets 2 crew slots. The game designers did a ton of research into the props and sets used on the films to accurately render their models, and had access to tons of research material from Lucas Films that the public doesn't have access to, don't you think they probably knew how many crew seats were on a firespray? It's not a matter of creating a 1:1 scale, it's about game balance and elegance. Crew upgrades would be much different and much harder to balance if they gave the Firespray and Falcon 4 and 5 crew slots respectively.

I didn't say it was a 1:1 ratio, and I'm sure they do a lot of fudging for game mechanics.

I'm thinking about the formula someone else brought up here a while back, if you include the pilot then make it 2:1 ratio but subtract one at the end for the pilot again, it works out for all of them except the Firespray-31, which if you just count the seats in the image should have [(5+1) /2]-1 = 2 crew slots.

I'm saying I don't think they counted the two seats at the bottom as I've read some people assume that's where the prisoners get strapped it, which I believe is incorrect because the Firespray-31 is supposed to have 1 pilot, 2 guards, & 4 prisoners. If there are only two seats on the bottom then the there must be a prisoner area in the back.

Wookieepedia says Slave-1 has 1 pilot, 1 co-pilot, 2 passengers, and 6 prisoners,

which would work out to zero crew slots (and one empty seat of the five).

For the Decimator they obviously counted passengers as it has 2 crew, 2 gunners, and 6 passengers.

I has always bothered me that you can't take a full Falcon and I've been meaning to make a new set of cards that lets me take seven crew on the Falcon (Ep.IV) as a base and ratio all other ships, a very minor edit to the digital copies that exist already. Might have to scale up other stats as well to all the ships but it would be an interesting variation.
