Some questions

Was playing a few days ago and came across these questions , sorry if theyve been awnsered already

1: magical immunity or resistance vs spells that add to skill = does this affect the spell or no? (I think its no but better to ask)

2: if an investigator starts with an ally do you draw an ally or choose 1 from the 11 available in each game?

3: Micheal Glen vs. Rhan-Tegoth = instant win? , my reason is Micheal reduces stamina loss by 1 to 0 so after he hits 1 stamina if he fails his check it wouldnt matter

4: is take 1 spell (or item , ally ,ect) different than draw 1 = meaning if you take 1 can you search for it?

5: call the AO spell and Massa Di Requiem Per Shuggay = if you use these does AO start with whatever doom tokens its at or does it fill up?

5a: if it starts at current doom tokens and we use Eltdown shards or Marie Lambeaus ability while AO is at 1 doom then awaken it is that a win?

5b: if call the AO we remove 3 doom while at 3 doom does AO wake up with 0 and get defeated?

5c: if above correct would it work against Azatoth? (I believe no)

6: Rex Murphy + personal story Extra Extra in play (1 clue at upkeep) vs. Nyarlathotep = instant win? (rules say at upkeep you dont roll for retainers ect but you would for blessing/curse so if he gains the clue if hes only invest then AO couldnt make him lose last clue)(anly works if he starts with at least 1 clue at start of final battle)

7: a monster that delays you if you fail a check against it = are you still in combat with it or does it end and you are delayed after the fail? (gives you chance to kill it)

8: this 1 is kinda silly but if you are cursed (or blessed) and you gain a blessing (or curse) do youdiscard the other? (the cards themselves are worded "If you are cursed and become cursed discard this card instead" , same for blessing) I thought they replaced each other

#1: Spells are Magical, so affected.

#2: If under Fixed (Ashcan + Duke), choose, if under Random, well, random.

#3: That's gotten an errata. No prevention works in final combat with R-T (Stamina loss prevention). Check the "Official Answers from Kevin Wilson" sticky thread, should be in there.

#4: Probably need an example. If X is named, you can find it from the deck, otherwise no searching.

#5: Doom track is always filled if the GOO wakes without it being full

a: Marie can remove 1 doomer, Eltdown Shards requires movement points and you don't have any of those when the GOO wakes up.

b: Fill the doom track, the remove 3.

c: Still dead gran_risa.gif . Investigators + world, not Azzy.

#6: Note that it's First Player gets 1 Clue. When you lose your last Clue vs Nyarly, you die. But yeah, like Roland going in with 1 Clue, poor Nyarly. Nerf-time I think.

#7: Still in combat, you're just stuck there next turn as well.

#8: Cursed, gains Blessed -> back to default 5+ successes, same vice versa.
