Good morning,

I recently bought a Falcon and upon reading this post, began thinking of fun ways to fly her. Having never played with a Falcon before I was wondering if you fellas/fellettes had any suggestions for a fun build.

Please note the following; I do not play competetively, will proxy cards and love an OT feel to my lists. I'm not saying they have to be strictly OT .. but I like the feel of it.

I really like the idea of Chewie as pilot and any points left over will probably be spent on X-Wings.

So my friends, can you please help me? Where should I start?

If you want list for fun, not a tournament play, why don't you try to make it yourself?

I think list building is also fun part of this game / hobby.

I had originally posted a basic list I had made .. but then removed it from the original post. But I was hoping for fresh ideas as opposed to people critiquing and modifying my own.

Chewie, PTL, MF title and Nein Numb.

My favorite pilot is Chewbacca, and my favorite Chewie build is this:

Chewie (Predator, Gunner, C-3PO, Millenium Falcon) - 54 points

I've combined him with Leebo (Determination, HLC, Recon Specialist) or 2 B-Wings (Dagger, Blue) with great results.

Also, these could be fun and have a ROTJ feel:

Lando (PTL, Nien Nunb, Jan Ors, Millenium Falcon)

Dagger (Advanced Sensors)

Green (Chardaan, PTL, Autothrusters)

I'd prob drop the torps though and find something else to prop the others with though.

"Fun Falcon" is an oxymoron in the context of X-wing miniatures because the turret advantage is just so ******* stupid in a game based around tactical maneuvering.

the only two possible ways to make it a fun experience for both sides is

a.) it's the goddamn Falcon, and the stupid rules are secondary to playing with/against your favorite OT characters

b,) being a merciless troll

here's the best of both worlds:

Option A is the ONLY option as far as I'm concerned. I see a lot of C-3PO crew and I also see a lot of people hating on folk who constantly play Han et al. My small group of mates who play .. play for fun. We have no idea who won 20 minutes after all is said and done.

Chewie is a bad-ass so he is getting a ride (whether as pilot or crew). Alternatively, might throw Lando and Nein Numb in together for old time's sake.

Just had a 50pt game using Han (46 pts) Chewbacca crew (4pts) . Was a fun squad to play in our non competitive game !
