lore card: Fury of Y'llan

By DavideChaosLord, in BattleLore

hello to everyone,

i'am a Uthuk player, i wanna know how to use the card "Fury Of Y'llan"

I do two examples:

1) i declare the target of an attack and play this card with a meele unit "blood harvester" that is weaked (only one miniature):

i roll 3 dices (result: 1 crossed sword, 1 flag, 1 single sword) and more 3 dices of the card (result: 1 lore, 1 crossed sword, 1 single sword)

so, I resolve the attack in this way: the target unit has 4 damages (for 2 crossed and 2 single sword), 1 retreat, and I gain 1 lore.

or I resolve in this way : the target unit has 2 damages (1 crossed sword of the 3 unit's dices attack and 1 single sword from card's dices) and 1 retreat (i don't gain 1 lore because it comes from card's dice)

2) i declare the target of an attack and play this card with a range unit "vyper legion" that is weaked (only one miniature):

i roll 2 dices (result: 1 bullseye, 1 single sword) and more 3 dices of the card (result: 1 lore, 1 crossed sword, 1 single sword)

so, I resolve the attack in this way: the target unit has 3 damages (for 1 bullseye and 2 single sword), and I gain 1 lore.

or I resolve in this way : the target unit has 2 damages (1 bullseye of the 2 unit's dices attack and 1 single sword from card's dices) and (i don't gain 1 lore because it comes from card's dice)

thank you much

Hi Davide,

Fury of Y'llan works this way:

a) it gives you 3 bonus dice

b) each [Cleave] (the "single sword") generated may be committed to cause one damage, and this affects the whole pool of dice

So, in your examples:

1. The weak Blood Harvesters unit generates 4 hits (2 Strikes, 2 Cleave)

2. The Viper Legion unit generates 3 hits (1 Pierce, 2 Cleave)

Hope this helps :)

And also: you gain the Lore and all the rest. The "three extra dice" are exactly "three extra dice": they are not a different dice pool you use only to check the [Cleave] results; they expand your initial dice pool. So that you can gain lore, make more damage, generate [Heroic] results to commit to trigger abilities, and force your opponent to retreat.

ok Julia, it's clear!

Now I will play this card (spending 5 lores) with pleasure ;)

thank you so much!

My pleasure Davide, buon divertimento!
