Given that FFG has stated it likes to to find something unique to do with each ship, perhaps a ship with ONLY a rear arc would be new. That'd be weird, but I'm calling it. TIE Aggressor with a rear-only 180 degree arc!
A turreted Tie Aggressor would be cool - now that the rebels have access to bombs.
And a Twin Laser Turret is in the pipe already ....
So ... WHY NOT?

That would be... full of not-good.
I'd like to see a small ship with a backwards primary WITH the forward, the same as the Firespray, but it would make zero sense (for a TIE variant, anyway) to not have a forward arc.
Backwards primary would be cool ... this would mean you could fire missiles out of your ass ![]()

Well I won't fault that logic. But how many TIEs with two forward shooting laser cannons do we need? And the dual-arcs have been done on the Firespray already. In reading the Wookiepedia entry for this thing, its a flimsier TIE model whose only strong point is that turret (and maybe some missiles). Having a good built-in turret like the K-Wing makes its included forward arc too strong, and having only a turret slot and a weak forward gun makes it an underpowered y-wing. A rear-only turret sounds bizarre, but its unexplored territory for the game designers.
A rear-only turret is what I expected on the shuttle, back in time when there was a first preview ...
No, the Tie Aggressor should have access to all turret upgrades.
Agreed. How about this. Given that it was highly modifiable in Galaxies, what if it was a low-cost, low-hull ship with an attack of 0 (I know, I know, bear with me). Give it turret, cannon and missile slots and make it designed to be modifiable ship. Give it a built-in auxiliary arc and you have a ship that seems made to counter the Autothruster Interceptors.
Why should the Empire build a ship to counter another imperial one?
Yes, I got your point. So a small double arc ship had its role.
I better like the idea of using all turrets currently available and to come.
But an attack of 0? NO!
Hence that you might lose the turret with a crit.
Also if your eye was so keen, you would see that the Decimator is now being included in the LCG. Clearly driven that way because of its presence in Xwing.
*sigh*

I believe Yoda once said, "Difficult to convey sarcasm in this medium it is."
Don't be too hasty, there is method in madness.
Using LFL artwork, I postulated the release of the YT-2400 before it was announced:

You are mistaking the correlation (similar art) as a causal link. It's a super common misconception.
More specifically, correlation is necessary for causal inference, but it's not sufficient.
Basically, if you see that A and B happen together (suppose A is ships appearing in art, and B is ships appearing as models in X-wing Minis), there are (at least) three reasons for that to happen:
(1) A causes B.
(2) B causes A.
(3) Both A and B are caused by C.
Ruling out #3 is usually the difficult part of proving a causal relationship. And in this case it's especially hard to do because there's an obvious and very plausible candidate for C: art depicting ships in the LCG and RPG has to draw from the same limited pool of content X-wing Minis does.
There are OTHER factors that lead me to believe that an oppressor is incoming. It adds a new 'trick' to a small based ship, I would say, a secondary arc for a small ship, rather than a full turret.
This is a much better argument, but it doesn't imply at all that FFG will get there soon. The Kihraxz/Vaksai was a fairly natural choice for a Scum medium fighter once Scum were conjured into being (that's your cue, Nightshrike...), but there were three waves between Roark Garnet's release and the upcoming release of the Kihraxz.
This is also something that one of the Episode VII Teaser First Order TIEs is rumoured to do - fire backwards.
NO! Unless and until the movie itself proves me wrong, it's really obvious that's a TIE with an armored viewport firing forward. Firing backward makes no sense at all, and it breaks at least two rules of visual rhetoric in a way that makes it harder for the audience to follow the action.
Testing out how this works on the Oppressor BEFORE doing any Episode VII vessels (if incoming) is also a good tactic, as it smooths out any potential issues before a major marketing crossover is implemented.
Assuming for the sake of argument that your chain of assumptions is good--that FFG will release the TIE Aggressor, that the TIE Aggressor will have a rear arc instead of a turret upgrade slot, that there's a First Order TIE variant with the ability to fire in reverse, and that FFG is releasing that TIE variant as part of a marketing crossover--what timeline are you imagining? If past performance is any indication, Wave 8 will arrive somewhere between November and February, and Wave 9 will first be available at GenCon 2016.
Which waves are featuring which of these ships?

Eh - what?
No, it's very definitely firing a small turret backwards. Easy to tell, because we've seen that upgraded TIE (with the cogs on the wing struts) from several different angles, now:

A: In leaked concept art there is a very similar TIE crashed on a desert planet, that looks like the fighter firing on the stormtroopers. This art appeared to be from the back of the ship judging by the impact trail, and it looks very similar to the fighter in the teaser. This means that the TIE in the art was flying backwards (a possibility in atmosphere now as the canon appearance of TIEs in rebels has them flying sideways) or the teaser ship was firing backwards.
B: In the teaser, the blasts seem to be coming from a 'module' attached to the underside of the TIE cockpit, similar to the usual placement for the lasers. This module, along with other features (additional attachments 'support/wing gears') can be seen in the leaked posters for the movie. These attachments seem to be added to the standard TIE cockpit. Both the gears and bottom turret. The leaked concept art turned out really accurate to the teaser, as well as the posters that were leaked. This leads me to believe that the TIE we saw firing is less likely to be having an armoured cockpit as the ability for the vessel to fire backwards.

Advanced Homing Missiles were first spoiled in the Star Wars LCG, and then they were announced in Wave 7.
FFG tends to recycle art and concepts from its LCG into X-Wing and vice versa, meaning if you see something starfighter related in the LCG, there's a good chance it will show up in X-Wing.
Even a broken clock is right twice a day.
Except I successfully predicted 3 ships and wave 6.

No, you listed a bunch of ships that appeared in the LCG. See my previous post about the dangers of assuming that A causes B when there's a plausible C lurking around.
You have to give him credit for predicting the third faction, especially when everyone below him thought he was crazy for suggesting a third faction.
S1n, did WonderWAAAGH ever send you your small ship?

Where? Because I don't remember Advanced Homing Missiles. I do have Advanced CONCUSSION Missiles cards, but not the Homing Missiles. The LCG also got the Connor Net first.

Nitpicking a bit, the point is the LCG spoiled an existing missile with "Advanced" in front of its title, and we got the same thing in X-Wing spoiled shortly after.

He sure did! Stand up guy, that green orc. Actually, he sent me $15 that I spent on an M3-A.

So far, the LCG has had 0 prediction on upgrades that are not characters. The only one I've seen is the Connor Net, and that hasn't released yet. Advanced Proton Torpedoes were in this game before the LCG.
And it is hardly "spoiling" when things you can't predict how something will work based on the other game.
Look! Wookiepedia "predicts" all the future waves! Just dig through it. I'll link back to this to show how I predicted all future waves that include any ships on Wookiepedia.
