Can you use Luke's reroll ability when using the Grenadier Command Card?

Inspiring: When another friendly figure within 3 spaces is attacking, reroll 1 die.

Grenadier-SPECIAL ACTION: Choose a space within 3 spaces and roll 1 red die. Each figure on or adjacent to the chosen space suffers DMG equal to the DMG results.

Using the Grenadier is not considered an attack. So Luke's Inspiring can not be used with Grenadier.
