TIE Advanced part of core set or not?

By Raistlinrox, in Star Wars: Armada

I, along with 2 friends have each bought a starter set of Armada. 1 of us received a TIE Advanced in our collection of TIE fighters. Me and the other didn't. Is this a rare ship that randomly shows up, or did me and the other guy get screwed?

Looks like a packing mistake. Only basic Ties in the core set.

Congratulations, you won a tour of the FFG factory? :P

EDIT: Oh, no sorry - thats a golden X-Wing ;)

Also, you sure it was an advanced and not just a TIE with really bent wings?

Pic?

Must have been a packing mistake. Got a picture?

I believe you because I received a 3 foot long Super Star Destroyer in my starter set.

The box was a bit distorted but it's true!!!!!

No seriously I'll believe you when I see a Pic.

Maybe its just a tie with REALLY bendy wings?

I've got a couple of those... but they're bent in the wrong direction for them to be mistaken for TIE Advanced.

What model is that SSD?

The play-test card that came with it has a point cost of 1000 and it's ability is that it can use it's squadron rating of 6 to move ships as well as squadrons.

Actually it's from the Wizards on the Coast Star Wars Capital Ship Combat game.

It's my friend's set. I don't have pics of it. I'll see if he can send me some.
